back downtown to pick up fixed tire, hopefully, and get a shrub trimming attachment for one of my Echo trimmers.
Just finished shoveling mulch for three hours, that was plenty of exercise.

first three places I tried on Amazon to get eclipse glasses were sold out. Got a pack of five for peanuts. Apparently not much to this, and lots of claims for CE ratings. You just have to wonder how many of these cheap Chinese glasses which are now flooding the market actually have adequate screening.
If you are going to watch it, I'd buy your glasses now while they are one or two bucks apiece.

Good Mor... evening all. Wife's nephew stopped in yesterday and we had a great time talking and eating Chinese food. Was up till just after 12:00 so did not get up till 6:00. We are still canning, veg soup now. 72 now and raining, we need it. Pretty muggy.

Randy. Sure am glad that you and your home are OK, after new siding that is. Praying the insurance company does what is right.

When my siding has hail damage, insurance would not replace all to match, just broken pieces. Surprised they just didnt replace individual shingles on the roof...

When a friend of mine and I enjoyed the big moment last Fall of firing up my 1968 Cub Cadet 125 which I had restored, it burbed and caught and died.
Burped, backfired, and the entire outside of the carb was on fire. Whoa baby, that was a first. I smothered the flame and put the air cleaner back on.
Now I really know why boats for many years had required spark arrestors inside the air cleaners of gasoline motors.

got all my errands run, tri rib tire to repair shop for new tube, and now out to get some work done.

Now imagine it blew a fuel line off and an electric fuel pump like mine did!

My adjuster came by today, took pictures and left us a very generous check as an advance on contents, now I'm mower and tractor shopping. I've been with State Farm for 33 years, this is why.:thumbsup:

Good evening! 7:30 pm walk to the front gate was a challenge. 100˚ no wind. Who opened the oven door and who just ironed my clothes with heat still coming off them?

Yesterday when Gray 2 got his vaccinations and weighed the Vet noticed he had lost a pound from last year, I made the comment he probably did not cat his mouse lat night and the vet responded that gray2 is 10 years old and that his mouser days were probably over. I thought back and the last time he left us a gift mouse on the front porch was during the winter.

Question for the Morning Group. Does anyone know of or have a cat over the age of 10 that still catches mice?
