Dump Run (get diesel and gasoline on the way back)
Trim weeds while there's still a bit or dew (keeps the dust down)
Grease tractor, mower and ZTR
Finish mowing the field
If I feel motivated, I'll get all this done today

52F partly cloudy upper 70's for high.
Mow the lawn after work yesterday which means one thing off the to do list today...lawn mower shop for trimmer parts,fill propane tanks for grills,wash pickup,clean rake up area under pines than take the day as it comes.

A dull day here with a fair breeze, ideal weather to spend some more quality time with the Stihl. I should say thanks to all of you who recommended I look at Stihl brush cutters a couple of years back. It has proved to be a real workhorse, far better than the Honda and others I have used before.

RS when you put another bed on your dump cart, you could consider skinning it over with some thin galvanized metal sheet. A bit easier to clean off than wood and won't matter so much if you leave something damp on top.

Don, our cat was still catching mice when he was at least 12 years old, although by that time he would only bring us the heads and not so many live birds.
Max caught a mouse yesterday. We reckon he thinks he is a cat, but fortunately he doesn't seem to want to share any with us.

David, we have had an induction hob for about 5 years now. Before that, my wife always preferred gas instead of electric elements, now she is sold on induction and wouldn't consider anything else. All inductions have very fast response (with the correct pans) and the better ones have very precise adjustments. They are also great for heating a variety of non-food things, like bearing housings, but please don't let my wife hear about that .

We got over 5" of rain here, but fell at a pace that kept flooding down. Feels like fall today but the heat comes back next week.

71 out this AM, we seem to be in dodge mode for the heavy rains around the area. I think we may not even approach an inch. And it looks to be clearing.

Don, the farm cat just got put down a few weeks ago, he was over 12, was hunting most every day. We brought him inside when I noticed he was not eating his kills. Hes stopped eating altogether a few weeks after that, took him to the vet when it went on for three days. Bad teeth. He was so old, he probably would not have survived the teeth work. And sure enough as we put him to sleep, his heart stopped. He kept the mice down, and was bully enough to keep all the other cats in their place, even the dog had an understanding with him. Great cat, wife still hurting over it.

The electrician came by last night. Seems one of the grounds had just enough of a crack or whatever to take the whole line out. And I looked at all the wires, and jiggled the heck out of each box. He comes in, does the same, isolated it, rewired and out of here. Wife looks at me and says "I thought you did that too". Whatever....

When it clears up in a few hours, it's food time, bbq and beer somewhere.

Good morning! 76˚ heading to 102˚. Thanks for answering the cat and mice question. It is good to know that Gray 2 still has at least another two productive hunting years left. I think I will follow Ed's agenda today and make it a run around day.
