I honestly don't know if there is a "correct" way to terminate hydraulic hose from a third function install. I had my dealer install the third function(WR Long) for my grapple and the hydraulic hose terminates with male connectors, just like yours. The ends go thru and are held by a stand-off bracket and there are rubber caps to cover the ends when not in use. Obviously, since the dealer installed the grapple - the male & female ends are going to be compatible. Will the male fittings be compatible with any other "front end" implement I might purchase that needs third function abilities........it would seem obvious but unless one actually "made" physical connection there could be incompatibility. However, this would simply mean having new female connectors put on the new implement.
So... I think yours is correct. The bigger concern is trying to determine what size, type & "shape" those two male connectors are so you can get matching female connectors for whatever you want to connect to it. I would start by asking your dealer what type, size, etc, etc those male connectors are..............
Man, I hope I made some sense and you can understand all this C-rap I just laid down..............
