I was thinking INCORRECTLY that CID of engine was on engine serial # tag. T21411 casting # is on both 2020 & 2030 rear axle housing BUT R55011 engin e block casting # only shows up in 2030 parts catalog. Engine could have been changed as engine SN appears very low at 085793 for a 2030 since they were only built for 5 yrs because SN break I find in 2030 PC is at 248,000. Where is casting # T23611(your last photo) located as I don't find it on rear axle housing?

texas: casting# T21411T is located in the RIGHT rear axle (if looking forward at the back of the tractor)

Parts catalog shows the pre filter stack, but I have never seen one on a 2030.

i went to the local JD dealer to get parts. some parts fit the 2030 some don't.... the JD rep was a confused as some of you.. one guy called it a "gray market 2030"

I knew T21411 came from rear axle housing but I couldn't determine where other casting number came from.

I've never seen a pre-cleaner on very many JD 20-55 series utility tractors either.

air filter is not in the usual place (maybe w/ the air filter stack) and i had a broken Fuel Injection Return Line T Boot which is rubber and the parts rep said those on 2030s are usually metal?
oil and hydraulic filters were spot on w 2030 specs....

Two different air filter elements: AT20718 used up to S/N 190319, AR84228 after S/N 190319
Pre filter should not have made a difference. It attaches to the metal tube on the filter housing and the hood will a hole for it to go through.

casting # T23611 is on a pipe right above the engine that flows to air intake area.... see pic

The engine oil(T19044) & hyd filters(AR75603) are common for many/many utility tractor models including 2020. Does your tractor have a dry type air cleaner?

Look at the engine serial number outlined in blue for the 2020 & 2030 Nebraska test compared to your tractor's engine serial number. As I previously stated I though engine CID(219) was supposed to be on SN tag on some models BUT notice the similarity of test 2020 engine SN to your tractor's SN.

According to JD Parts - Oil Bath was optional on Spanish-built 2030 & 2130 WITH S/n 50000 +
2030, 2130 Tractors (s.n. 50000- )(Built in Spain)

That's because I'm nearly 100% positive it's not a 2030!!!!!!!!!! Read my #4 post on this thread Z5 does your 2030 have 4219 on engine SN tag?
