The rear tire bolts are 27mm lubricated and I believe class 8.8. According to fastenal engineering chart that would mean I need to tighten the bolts to 597 ft-lbs. According to a different chart i found it states 700lb-ft. So that's a lot of pressure, more than twice what my 1/2 torque wrench will do. I still want to find the correct number in NH documentation however I don't think I want to buy a wrench that can actually do that, its hundreds of dollars.
I have a Harbor freight in town - he means cheap tools - they sell a Pittsburgh 3/4 torque that can do 300ft-lbs for $79.00
So I am guessing that most operators just tighten up the tires, get to work and skip the 1000 ft-lbs torque wrench
