it's 479 minus 425- the numbers I posted. Horn Lake,MS warehouse is 18 miles below I-40 where we will be anyway.
$505-5%= the $479. The pick up prices they don't give you the 5%, it's an inclusive price with hidden discounts.
FWIW, Tomahawk quoted me $177 freight plus $407 on their fork set. I priced many brands. Blue Diamond sells a USA product thats made in Knoxville,TN where we have 3 grandchildren but they sell through dealers only and in spite of me being near their facility all the time, I'm calling dealers here in KY that range from 1-2 hours from me and want full price for a set of forks. Throw in that like many products a mfg lists as a dealer, they may or may not have the item and have to order it in which raises their costs to sell to you.
The KY fabricator priced me $535 for a fork set like Titans-looks the same, etc.. They are a 4 hr RT from me plus sales tax too.
That guy said they have a high cost for the forks added into the set.
My issue with pallets as outside storage is they rot over time and end up getting thrown away with my mill slabs. I've used them for a plastic barrel with maple sap and a few other items but overall they are better off in a warehouse which I don't own.
Titan guy told me there are n o sales prices in the near future such as a holiday, etc..As for that top bar getting bent, I'll probably bend it in use anyway...
"free" pallets are easy to come by. Collecting , repairing and reselling them is a low on the food chain business model here in KY. Sames state that makes them new. I had a student years ago who worked in a pallet mill where he built them with a hammer, that guy could amaze you with driving a 16 penny nail one whack, BAM!
I quizzed him about the fitment issues mentioned by a few here and he provided me with the spacing measurements for the SQ hole and the rectangle hole in the SQQA lockup area of the back plate. These are industry standards that they are well aware of, so it seems. I'm going to measure my OEM Kioti bucket holes for comparison before I order. Spacing Titan gave me is SQ @ 20.5" and rectangle @ 37.5" to 28.5".
