We purchased a nearby 1/4 acre rental property in early 2016. Then purchased the adjoining 1/4 acre rental property in late 2016. 1/2 acre total (although they back-up to an undeveloped ~25 acres).
Both of the properties had "deferred maintenance" (were neglected) by the previous owners.
We had hurricane-force winds back in January 2017. It took down the fences and several trees at both of my rentals, and the fence at my house.
I was looking at installing ~600' of fence, a negative-grade issue routing water towards one of the houses, and wanting to Xeriscape (was thinking rock everywhere - potentially hundreds of tons of rock).
I went in search of the smallest tractor I could get with a post-hole digger. Glanced at the
BX1870, but the salesman easily steered me toward the
BX2370.
I was less than an hour into the
BX2370 when I started thinking I really should have gotten the
B2601 instead.
The trade-in value on a (~1hr) "used" BX is enough of a deterrent that I just stuck with it.
It has done everything I've needed, but I still wish I had the additional ground-clearance and bigger tires and FEL and 3pt (for grading) of the
B2601.
