You didn't keep the
B2320 very long BP ? I thought you were smitten with it .
I enjoyed that
B2320, OrangeRidge. Times change. Work projects change as well as we don't get any younger. I wasn't even thinking too hard on selling that
B2320 when a fella came down the drive as i was plowing snow one day. He asked me about the tractor, said he'd been looking for one as he and his wife were new property owners and she insisted they get a Kubota, and quick, to be able to function on their new retirement place. He asked if he could bring her over to see it. "Sure", I said, "Bring her over". Little did I know that when she arrived, and like many wives who held the checkbook, she was looking to buy, as in, Right Now.
We settled on a price that was essentially what I had paid for it, minus the sales tax I'd paid. The gentleman soon brought over a trailer and we loaded it up. Done. I had little regret as the bigger jobs that had necessitated that purchase were completed and things were winding down.
So, back to the dealer I went and he showed me a "used"
BX2360 with 24 hours on it. Yup, 24 hours. The discount was thousands over new so we loaded it up and took it home. Done. I'd stumbled into my second BX. I've had it for about 4 years now. It's been a flawless helper.
Do I miss the larger B? Sure, in the sense that I miss my younger body, my larger ambitions and my youthful energy to do them. I'm afraid the DOB on my driver's license doesn't lie. Time catches up with us all. The BX can do anything I wish to take on at this point in life, which isn't all that much. LOL
