Bill, wow, new Jeep, or it must ride like one now. Picture?
There was always something about the smell of a shoe repair shop. All that leather, the conditioning oils. A real harness shop
must smell even better, a deep rich smell that promises the softness of hand of a fine British cow.
Funny that with the exception of slathering cow horns all over the interior leather, the American auto industry hasn't made any marketing
push for American leather. We seem to have no tradition, at least currently marketed. No Corinthian leather here.
Spain, Italy and England are known for leather, even Sweden. I wonder why we don't have good Texas leather in our trucks????
And interestingly, I don't think of Germany when it comes to nice leather either. Nor France. And certainly not Russia or China.
Now here's an opportunity for US cattlemen. I'm ready to sit on your product.
Actually I think that's where some of my belts come from.
Another beautiful day here, cool in the morning in high forties, then high seventies today and for the next three days. Then rain comes and the temps drop.
So I have four days to get all my painting done.
Ding Ding Ding Eastern painting alert If you didn't get it done yet, you'd better get moving...
Now what have you been putting off?
No you may not put up Christmas lights yet. Though gosh I saw one neighbor had some new lights by their door.
Talk about rushing the season. Perhaps they just love
those lights.
