Yes, the 88" is outside to outside of the widest R4's.

I agree, a better blade for dirt work. I really need to get a box blade I think.

Any other implements or accessories? Telescopic lift arms worth the $$?

I run a quick hitch and you could pry it out of my cold dead hands. So my telescopic lift arms are mostly useless.

On my list are: grapple, 3rd fxn, hydraulic top link, combo ballast/carry-all box, sun/rain canopy, real grill guard.

Implements or accessories? Of course. One or two of each. Bush hogs in 6' and 8', heck a 7' flail. 6' tiller, 48" grapple, logging winch, chipper, snowblower, and on and on. Gotta be careful around here, we like spending other people's money. :)

I don't know how often you'll be changing implements, but I can tell you that i sure wish my Kubota had the telescoping lift arms. I have them on my New Holland, and they make hooking stuff up a lot easier.

Right now I only switch between the mower and the blade.

I think the telescoping is the best for me at the moment. Quick hitch once I get a larger barn to store more stuff.

Love the telescoping arms on ours! Make changing implements a simple process!

Absolutely. It's OF for standard ends if you don't change implements often or are young and broke but if you can afford it and DO change implements often, extendable ends save a lot of time and energy. I have one tractor with basic fixed link ends and it's OK to hook up something light but is tedious to hook up anything heavy or awkward that I can't lift into position.

What grill guard do you have or should I consider?

Lastly, not to beat a dead horse on this one - I did a lot of reading in the past on the insurance Kubota offers. I want to say when I purchased my B3200, that my dealer really didn't encourage me to get it. He wasn't telling me to avoid it, but left it up to me. More or less no opinion on it.

However, if I remember right, everyone seems to highly recommend getting the Kubota insurance. I forget what it's actually called....I put low hours on the machine, so whatever "standard" warranty it comes with, will run out before I'm likely to find something after it "works loose". But I believe the Kubota insurance pretty much covers everything that could happen to it?

I'm also assuming the price continues to go up as the cost of the tractor does as well.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

No one makes them commercially that I know of. I meant to modify the existing grill guard to protect the battery and radiators PRIOR to using any kind of grapple. DIY if you weld or like the plywood (Clampett's came to town :D) look or get a welder to add some HD (#9?) expanded metal).

If you do not do this you WILL shove a stick etc into your radiator or fan and ruin your day. :2cents:

Same. everything gets modded to QH compatible if it's not, or gets sold. Never really used the telescoping action on my L4060. Looks cool, but QH is cooler.
