Job finished, me and my buddy headed home. Up to 44 hrs on the clock now, almost ready for it's first service.

Great workmanship. Give the tractor credit, yes, but you sure are a natural behind the wheel. Having the equipment is one thing; knowing how to use it is quite another.

I've ran tractors about my whole life but a FEL very very little. It's been a learning curve to get the feel for things and my limits. Appreciate the kind words man.

This place still has a ton of work to be done to it. We just had it chemical sprayed, about to do another burn, & follow up putting about 30 acres set back out in pines. I have a land clearing crew coming in to stump the rest and build all my roads up then I'll take over from there.

Just updating how things are going. Things have slowed down for now using the tractor just here and there for small chores & just hit the 50hr mark for it's first service. Was cleaning out the barn with the bucket and needed to put another round bale out for the horse's, figured this would be a good easy test for the hooks I just welded on the bucket. They passed.

That's a pretty big bale. How does the tractor handle with that weight on it? Any issues or concerns in those 50 hours? How is fuel consumption and will you be doing the 50 hour service yourself?
Anything unusual either positive or negative to report? Any pics of your bucket hooks?

Handles good considering the weight is so far out, not as noticeable with the hay spear attachment. So far in the 50hrs only issue I had was after pressure washing it really well some relay's under the hood I think got wet and it wouldn't crank, I chased down the clicking to the relay's and tapped them, fired right up. Been meaning to see how to waterproof it. Other things was the brakes were glazed over, if I hit one brake to turn sharp it would chatter and squeal. Dealer said just use it and see if it smooths out, if not he'll replace the brakes. Problem has seemed to get better so I haven't taken it in. Other than that all has been great.

I haven't tracked fuel consumption, but considering the load and work I've done with it I think it's good. I also have a 32hp Kubota that sips fuel so I'm use to good fuel economy and it's not bad at all considering it's more than twice the tractor.

I'll be doing the service myself, manual only calls for simple things like topping fluid's, torque wheels & loader, & changing Hydraulic filter. Says to wait 150 or 300 hrs to change oil can't remember without looking but I'll go ahead and change the oil incase of any break in material in the oil.

Only negative I have about it is when the 3rd valve function was installed it required one hose to be attached under the hydraulic valve block which is very exposed under the tractor.

I added a hook to each side & a D Ring to the center welded on to a 3/8" plate with a back strip welded also for extra reinforcement and a larger bearing surface for the load. Stick welded, and I haven't been at it to long. I could have grinded down the welds to look better, but I was after function.

With the spear it's very stable. I wouldn't run across a pasture without some rear ballast, but moving and stacking bales it's fine without.

Also you can see the hose and fitting I'm talking about in this picture.
