Would you buy your Kioti (or another) again?

Im seriously considering buying a px1053pc this coming year so anyone with knowledge of their real farm tractors 80 hp or above care to give me some insight.

2013 DK90

15 or 1600 hrs.

Used for haying, feeding, etc.

Yours would have a different engine, hi/lo splitter, a slightly (very slightly) different cab layout, wider axles, slightly different loader, def, higher 3 point capacity (lots higher) with external lift rams and a few other details...hood, cab top...But basically the same drivetrain and tractor overall. More hydraulic flow...

Anyway, based on my experience with my DK, your PX would be one fine tractor. Unfortunately it uses that pesky fluid.

If I was in the market, I would consider that everything else would have to beat the Kioti, not the other way around.

I have a kubota m9000 now that i love but as it is an 04 model with 13000 odd hrs on it its time to replace it and rebuild it.

I drove an m9000 many years ago. It was pretty new at the time. It was a smooth tractor to use. It was also an anomaly around these parts. Now there are more...Kiotis will slowly work their way in too.

The only thing I have to repair was a faulty hydraulic temp sensor down on the hydraulic filter. Something to take into account when it comes to hours on some of the earlier models is they used a tachometer driven hour meter so if the engine was rated for 2600 rpm and you run it at 1300 it will take 2 hours of actually engine run time to but 1 hour on the clock.

I would and did. 2004 Kioti LB1914 w/ 650 hours. Sold a few years back when I bought a 2013 Kioti DS4510HS at ~300hours now. The LB1914 is now with my cousin. Don't know how many hours. No problems other than it either needs glow plugs or a relay.

DK35, upgraded to DK40.

I would NOT buy the same or similar. Dealer went out of business soon after and the current 'replacement' dealer is too arrogant.

I started out with a DK35, which turned out to have the wrong (big) wheels fitted to it (next to zero space between the tyres an the guard). Causes real issues when it picked up a small branch and God help me should my fingers get in between.

The DK40 normal/4WD lever is next to impossible to use.

Front 4WD gears disintergrated TWICE, costing heaps. Asked if the second repair can be done free of charge, I was told "It's out of warrenty". Tough titty.

FEL joystick lever broke.
Ignition switch faulty TWICE.

Fuel capacity 40l. Have to do massive lifting to place a 20l jerrycan on top, and never can add a second jerrycan of fuel (because you cannot run it complete dry). So always just add 20l fuel.

After spending a massive amount of time on battery charging issues (turned out to be faulty igntion switch), now it refuses to start (crackshaft turns over).

Brakes are ineffective, and useless if slightly up/downhill. God help me if ever I need to rely on it.

Creep speed lever extremely difficult to operate.

Wow. That's Mahindra level bad user experience. That would leave anyone hating any brand. I do really feel for you on that unit, you got a bad tractor and no one was there to give two craps. Sorry man &#55357;&#56863;
