New front panels for BX?

I have a post a few days ago about repairing the plastic on the front side panels of my BX 2350. I have given up on that idea, I damage it even more today.

Any idea on cost of this?

There was a thread a year or two ago about using the metal pieces from a newer BX but I do not know if anybody made it happen?

Just to clarify this is not the hood but the single piece that covers both sides of the engine and wraps around the front.

I was finally able to get the part number to go through on the Messicks website. The part number in my book ended with -0. If I left the zero of it gave a price of $217. Not great but not as bad as I thought.

I’d still like to know if the metal ones fit.

I have posted in the past about the compatibility of a BX25 fenders fitting the plastic BX's; never got an answer even from a Kubota regional rep. The rep took all my info about a year ago then I think he went into witness protection. Repeated inquiries were never returned.

I would call and ask the guys at Messicks - they have been super helpful in the past when I was working on unusual conversions.

I ordered the new plastic panel from my local dealer. I also asked if the steel side panels would fit mine with the plastic. They didn't know for sure but a couple of guys both said probably not. The shape isn't exactly the same on the newer ones. Maybe if you did the hood and side panels but maybe not. My hood is Ok so I didn't want to order both.

Was your local dealer less than Messicks? I ask because I priced a tractor from Messicks 4.5 hours east of me) and again from a shop a couple west of me, and the price I got from Messicks was over $3,000 higher for the same B2650 outfitted as TLB,MMM, loaded tires and added remote for grapple. I was expecting Messicks to crush it on the price being how popular they are, but they did not.

The price for the part was almost exactly the same at my local dealer and it was at Messicks. I won't have to pay shipping with the local dealer either, I'm not sure if I would have at Messicks or not.

Like you, i too expected a better price when i contacted them for a snow pusher...
they were $400 more for the same land pride than anyone else.

Sorry, They are 4.5 hours east of me. 94.5 hours would be someplace in Russia!
