What TWO guns would you want more than any other...

I dunno...It'd be a toss up between my Savage 92FS bolt action .17HMR, The CZ 455 .17HMR, or my custom built AR-15 chambered in .223 wild, and my Ruger GP100 .357 MAG stainless 6" barrel. I also like the reliability of my Sig Sauer P220 .45, but I can't seem to hit **** with it if I'm not closer than 20 meters.

Now... I have to ask. Why a .17HMRs in the mix? I love the little gun and it can do damage, but shooting a piece of rice as one of my choices would not be on list.

What about it is worth taking 50% on your list?

If/when I came home with a new gun, my wife likes to see it, and would like to shoot it...

With mine, when I bring home a new gun, her initial response is, "Does that mean I can get a new one, too?"

I haven't looked, but did you get the savage mixed up with Beretta? I'm not familiar with all savage rifles, just figuring is should be a VS or FSV or something else like that with savage LOL I just find it hard to believe that another manufacturer would give a model # to one of their guns when another manufacturer has the same model # ?

I know they have a model 93R17, as I have the same rifle in .22WMR. Don't know about a model 92, though.

I bought the one in my picts. about 1983 and I've been hunting with it extensively ever since... I know quite a bit of the history of it.

The shot bbls will shoot 16ga. or 20ga... (I have 20ga. chamber inserts for it)

The rim fire rifle "insert" bbl. (I have two) will shoot 22mag., the second one will shoot 22LR. They shoot about as accurate as a decent bolt action rifle.

The center fire rifle bbl. is chambered for 8x57jrs... I've taken everything from moose and bear on down with it and it's very accurate. I load 200NP's at 2,550fps, so it's very close to the same power level as a 30-06.

A fun question, they're probably isn't a half dozen TBN members that only has two guns. Out of the dozen I have, I'll keep the Mossberg 20ga pump, only kills at one end and if I get hungry I can go skeet hunting.

Next I have to keep my cap&ball 1858 Remington with the two 45LC conversion cylinders, can also use snake shot in them, but I will sure miss my Henry 44 mag. When's this government regulation going to take place anyways?
