What TWO guns would you want more than any other...

It's not so much that I don't like them, they just terrify me. .ive killed 17 this year, my wife killed 8 and my mom got three. My dogs also got three in their yard. Over half where poisonous. They show up in the spring and go away when winter hits. I know four people that where bit this year by copperheads or water moccasins. One of my dogs has been bit twice by copper heads. One of the friends bit was four years old and his parents didn't know for over a week if he would lose his hand.

Mossberg 500 home defence and a Ruger 10/22 are my choices. Next on the list is a Ruger rancher.

This has been a good exercise. Has me thinking about smaller calibers.....I guess having to hump a bunch of .308, 300WM, shotgun shells etc would have almost anyone thinking “smaller”

It's kind of interesting that the question was "What TWO guns would you want more than any other..." and the discussion quickly turned to survivalist mode. I didn't take the question that way. I took it to mean what would you WANT, not what would you NEED. Interesting discussion, though.

If I asked you "what TWO tools would you want more than any other..." what would your response be?

IMO it comes down to what you want to use the tool for...

That said, the purpose for the use of the tool wasn't given per the OP's question.

I got out just before they introduced the SAW. That said, from what I heard years later from buddies still in they thought the gun sucked. DECADES later (like a couple of years ago) when I was in Oklahoma having dinner with a NG member (civilian we were in the same industry), we were talking about guns and ironically enough he thought the SAW sucked as well.

Got to ask, why is it a "must have"?

LMAO at someone saying the SAW sucked. Its an awesome LMG.

High rate of fire, good accuracy, easily portable and operated by one person, quick swap barrels with different lengths, etc.
