19 inches of snow to plow

Snow is a four letter word. That's all I'm gonna say.

I'm one of the few in Central Kentucky with a 27" eight horse snow blower and a 60" snowblade on my Ford 1210 tractor. I don't like dealing with it and want to get it dealt with in the most expeditious manner. The wife wants to move further south to get out of this snow thing. Based on this last week's snow in the southern US, I guess we'll need to move to somewhere around the equator. :banghead:

These scoops are better than a back breaking shovel. I used to build a gradual ramp and just push the snow up the ramp and dump it off the end. Great exercise. Here is the V-plow and side wing I built for one of my little tractors. Crazy project but it actually dont work too bad. one.jpg

I built so many little blades over the years , it is such fun . I plowed snow for other people for 18 years and now it is fun just doing my own driveway. I always wanted to build one of these 4x4 mini tractors. I finally did and it is great fun to push snow with. I have thought of mounting a snowblower on it. 4020first plowc.jpg

I had a snowplowing business for 18 years. I built this blade with side wings and attached front fenders and added rear wider fenders and modified the blower. I had a 2 mile radius and a great route. I was very efficient and made great money. I still love the snow. This is a photo of me cutting a hole in my front yard.DSC07423.JPGP2230015.JPG

Waldon, if you were my next door neighbor I'd be watching out the window all the time just to see what cool thing you're going to bring out next!

That's Funny, I'm sure the neighbors think I'm nuts , living in town with 13 little tractors, a small wheel loader, a truck plow and a snowblower, lol I'm sure my old neighbors thought I was nuts when I used to plow snow with these two VW's , ha,ha,ha.:shocked:11.jpg256923312_9db36941ea_o.jpg

I shoveled another 1-1/2" of snow in my driveway this morning bring our total for the last few days to 24" . Mostly light lake effect snow . I will get the little loader out soon and build a snowhill for my little grandson. The loader has to sit outside but the Tarp Flipper idea I designed has worked out great . It keeps the snow off and all summer keeps the rain off it. I liked it so well that a few weeks ago I built a second design to keep the snow off our motorhome.:confused:aaatarpflipperC.jpg
