Sounds like an expensive upgrade. Ended up get a leftover 17 12 k off sticker with all the deals going now.

You got a good deal, but rules are rules. No pics or it didn’t happen.

That's the same deal I got back around Memorial Day on my 2017 2500. Almost 9,000 on it now and a good portion of it's use has been towing stuff. Works great! Images to satisfy rules...

mama mia! That is a very nice looking truck! I would have gotten a long bed, but still very nice!

I just wish RAM would ONE DAY upgrade to running lights in the mirrors. They haven't done that yet in any of their trucks. Wonder how long till they do, if ever...

My 15 Eco Diesel doing a bit of work, well pleased with the motor, my only concern is the transfer case, my preference would be one without the auto 4wd.

Thanks for the compliment!!

It's long enough as it is, in my opinion. Even those extra few inches over the 5'7" box on the 1500 are noticeable. And I've never felt like I needed more bed length, so I'm OK with it. I have trailers for longer stuff.

College roomie bought the four door Ram diesel. Makes his living selling class 8 trucks. Says he will drive it till Fiat has to buy it back. Feels there is going to be something coming up like Volkswagon on EPA.

I was getting really amped up to save towards an ecodiesel 1500 RAM when they were first coming out. But then I checked the rated payload figures. Most trims of RAM can only do 900 lbs total payload... a total joke. So with 4 guys in your quad cab, you can safely haul... 300 lbs in the bed? And it'll probably still look squatted on the coil suspension. RAM 1500s are the best pickup for the suburban weekend warrior... don't see to many of them as work trucks, probably for a reason. (flame suit on)
