5 outside this AM up here. The wind looks to have died down a little. It's not something to be taken lightly. Yesterday the wife and I managed to "walk" to the hotel lobby. It was brutal down there, looking outside at ground level. From our room view the gusts would just white out certain areas. Well at ground level it was the sidewalks. Yikes!
Buckeye, that's good news. Surgery's are always with risk.
wngsprd, you bet on the countdown. It's time to get home. My only gripe up here is the pharmacy runs the doctors have made me do. I think I have visited over eight different ones, due to their uncoordinated efforts in getting prescriptions called in. But, it's all goodness now.
Unfortunate, my wife saw on facebook that a neighbors barns burned down while we were up here. No animals were injured, but now I bet they are looking for infrastructure to help them get through this weather. That's got to be devastating. I hope to help when we get back.
