My NX4510 came with it I love it and use it just about all the time except heavy loader work.

Hi badbumneez,

Not sure what CK model you are looking at, but when I was looking at the CK 35 or CK 40, the dealer I was working on said it was an optional accessory and could be installed any time. I also looked at the back of the CK product brochure and it is listed as an optional accessory, so I'm sure this can be added any time. I ended up with the NX45, where the linked pedal is electronic and I love it. Mine is left on all the time. The hand throttle sets your minimum throttle and if the pressing of the HST pedal needs more throttle, you get it.

On the CK, I believe this was a mechanical linkage, meaning it would be engaged at all times, but I really don't see a reason to disable it since you can always control your minimum throttle with the hand throttle. I guess the only reason you wouldn't want it on is if you wanted to keep the PTO RPM at the ideal setting but wanted full control of the HST pedal. Realistically, I still don't see that being an issue.

I think it’s standard on the ck se factory cab models. My ck4010 se hst has it.

It’s a little more crude feeling than I expected, from a tactile perspective, but most of the Kioti controls are.

They haven’t reached the level of sofistification of a modern pickup or medium duty truck, let alone a car.

Basically you flip a lever and then your HST pedals will also engage the throttle very similar to a foot throttle on a gear transmission tractor. Basically you can leave the hand throttle at idle (but it works at any throttle setting), and then drive it around like a car. If you max the hand throttle out there's nothing left for the linkage to do so it won't have any effect. I think it where it will shine is in medium to light loader work and towing/dragging work, and obviously just driving around.

It's not going to help you if you're sitting still or heavy work while going slow.

I can make a video for you though if you want.

I have it on my CK3510SE and absolutely love it. I road my tractor quite a bit going from location to location and having that linked pedal makes it just like driving a car with a gas pedal.

It’s handy for mowing for example being able to slow to go around an obstacle or turn and then just accelerate out and keep on going. I use it for light loader work as well and it makes it much faster. Heavy work I turn it off and use the throttle the old fashioned way.
