For wind protection (without a cab), a snowmobile helmet works great. (IMO)
Never had a snowmobile helmet. Are they any different from motorcycle helmets?

For ice boating we wanted helmets. Tipping the ice boat over at 30+mph and hitting your head on the ice, a helmet is great. We bought I think snowmobile helmets but they were not full face. We did get different color visors for different sun conditions.

As far as fogging up. If the visor is down completely, it fogs up. But I raise mine just an inch or so, and it keeps it from fogging. Now I have the benefit of moving faster than on a tractor. But try to raise the visor just a bit, to keep the snow and wind off of your face, but let your breath go out without it hitting the visor. Jon

Yes, Breath deflectors to help prevent fogging, often have double lens shields to help with fogging (mine has a heated shield.)

Being a retired equipment operator, I am used to running loaders, so I just use my loader for my snow removal. That way I push and wing it off the drive on the downwind side, without leaving big windrows on the side of the drive that will drift back in at that height. Can pile up snow if we get alot here in the snowbelt, and can rescue neighbors and push there snow back when they run out room.
