Quirky and OCD tendencies..... Anyone else have them?

I put a new garage door opener in and I intentionally bought one that connected to internet. It notifies me each time it is opened or closed on my cell and there is an indicator in the house so I don't have to go look... before getting the new opener, I was known to get a few miles away from house going somewhere and have to go back and check garage. I think it is based on the garage door getting left open once (nothing happened other than me being concerned that someone had come into house thru open garage door. I intentionally wait until family is out of house and then check stove, coffee pot, etc before I go.

Hmmm, I better look into one of those internet openers! Best thing I ever did was install a peephole in the door to our garage. The light switch is right beside the door so all I need to do is flick on the light and peer through the hole to see that the overhead is closed.

Kraft Mac and Cheese Deluxe with Heinz Ketchup stirred in. I even ruined my kids by raising them to like this. It's horrific looking, but oh man!!! It is sooooo good!

We quit buying Mac and Cheese. Use store bought macaronis. Boil with some cut up peppers. Add wieners or fried sausage and some sliced mushrooms fried in butter. When everything is cooked spice to taste and stir in cream of mushroom soup. Ya forget abut the store bought stuff with it's cheep cheese.

I can't stand instant mac and cheese.... but I do put tons of ketchup on my home made mac and cheese. :licking:

Ugh...IMO if it's good mac and cheese...that's like putting ketchup on a filet mignon...!

In all seriousness, my mom (RIP) and my wife both make GREAT home made mac and cheese. The sauce. The diced onions. The selection of cheese. A light brown crust on top... oh man, its on of my top 5 my favorites. However, I like ketchup on it! Try it some time. Just a bit on the side and try it. It's pretty darn good.

Even into my late 30's I shuddered to think, let alone the thought of eating my sausage if any pancake syrup would accidentally get near it...now days...I like a little sausage with my pancake syrup...!

I can't eat mac and cheese without ketchup after having tried it many years ago. Adds some tangy-ness or something. Just tastes bland without it, no matter how good a recipe it is.
