B2650 dual rear remotes.

Here is the picture.
The Right valve is the loader valve, then feeding into the rear remote valve.
Then the power beyond plug is installed and the line feeds to the 3 pt hitch. Then the tank line is tied into the existing loader drain line.

I have that diagram that came with the valve also. I originaly thought I would use power beyond also. Dealer said you are feeding the new spool valves and the 3pt at full pressure from the loader valve. Which ever one you use will grab the flow and then return thru the 3pt. No matter which way it is set up, if you try to use 2 functiions at the same time, one will starve somewhat. I am with you that I could not stand the looks of the valve mounted to the rops over the right fender. Mine has worked good so far with no problems. Again maybe one of the members with more knowledge will comment.

I understand. Maybe it doesn’t matter either way. If your way is fine than that’s one less hose to run which is nice. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Rumor had it that another b series tractor (can’t remember the model) uses the same part number for rear remotes but it mounts under the fender.

For sure the way my dealer designed it was sure a nice easy set up with the 3pt adapters from Kubota. It seems it works basically the same way as power beyond, which I did buy the plug and did not use. Maybe LD1 can answer if there are any pros or cons either way. It would be interesting to know. The owner of my dealership and I are going to the Motorcycle Expo this weekend in Cleveland, so I will try to find out some more information also.

Sounds good, I can’t wait till my tractor gets here so I can start tinkering.

This thread has a really good discussion on why the PB port/function should be used...

There is some pretty good reading on those posts. Sure something to check out. Still hoping some of the members with hydraulic knowledge, can chime in with some current info. Thanks for the post Dan. As I said mine works perfect now but wonder if it could cause problems down the road. I want to really fine tune this before I do my neighbors tractor.

Yea hopefully an expert chimes in soon.
On the plus side if you decide to use the power beyond your not out anything you already did.

Just take the plug on the power beyond port off. Screw in your small 1/4” power beyond adapter that came with the valve. Move your hose/fitting from the tank pork up to the power beyond port. Then install a rubber hose from the tank return port and “tee” it into the loader valve drain.
Just like the guy did in this thread on page 2

Hey Dan. Just a follow up. I talked to my Kubota dealer and was assured with my size tractor that I would have no problems with the way it is plumbed up. But due to the fact that I am **** about things, and retired and have time to do it, I switched it over and used the power beyond and installed a return line. The other reason is I have another B2650 I am going to do the same thing as I did to mine, so I wanted to get it all figured out before I started out on his tractor. Installed the power beyond plug, and wanted to run the return out right below it on the side, but you cant install 2- 90 degree fittings as the hit trying to spin them in. So I ran the return out the back port. I tied the return into the return hosse for the loader using a barbed T fitting. One little problem is the return hose from the loader is metric, and I could not find any metric size return line hoses at any hydraulic place. Also had to find a tee that was big enough for the metric hose and the 3/8" return line I used for the return from the spool valve would fit over, but we got it!! Everything works as before, but now instead of being 99% confident I am 100% confident in everything.

Rkidd,
I’m glad you changed it. You did the right thing, I forgot to post it(and I’ll look for the site again) but I read that the return port for that prince valve has a 700psi max pressure rating. The way your dealer had you plumb it up was subjecting that return port to over 2000psi. If you never really had much weight on your 3 pt it was fine. But if down the road you put your 3pt to its limit where it needed full hydraulic pressure you probably would have seen a failure on your remote valve sooner than later. Especially if you are doing it on a friends tractor. You want to do it right. My tractor might be delivered at the dealer today. Can’t wait to get mine all plumbed up.
