Here it is Richard. The follow up to my dual remote project. I got my toplink cylinder and hose brackets from Surplus Center for myself for Christmas so my wife didnt have to worry what to get me!! Haha. It was really the only top link cylinder I found that had the right collapsed length and right stroke. I did have to grind off a heavy 1/8" from the base end and rod end swivels to get then to fit the tractor and implements. I also mounted it upside down as the lock cylinder really adds some height, and didnt want to hit my rops when folded down. That would be a bad day! Mounting it this way worked out good, and I have good clearance even when all of the way down. After mounting the toplink cylinder, I got measurements and went out to my Kubota dealers and had the hoses made up. Looking from the back, the left valve runs the top link cylinder and the right for now runs up front for a grapple, or snow plow or whatever. In the spring the right one will run my tilt cylinder for box blading.

Looks great!!!! You are really going to enjoy having these remotes. Makes a tractor much more versatile and productive!!!! Thanks for the update!!!

For running the hoses up front, I came out with 90 degree quick couplers. Then ran hoses up to the loader valve and the along the steel lines from the loader valve. I wanted to put quick couplers up by the loader to be able to detach the loader, and the best place was under the right floorboard. I fabbed up and welded a bracket and bolted it to the floor board. I used one of the hose brackets I bought to secure them. The base of the hose bracket welds right to my bracket and then secures the hoses. A really nice set up. We had pre made the 2 sets of hoses to run up front, and the back set I was working on ended up being 8" too long and no way to loose the extra length. I wasnt going to start doing a half *** job now, so back to the dealers and cut the hoses and press on some new ends.

After I got everything hooked up and air bled out, everything works great and no leaks. The top cylinder will cycle my 700lb ballast box just off of idle no problem. Just have to run the front set of hoses up along the loader arm to the front bracket by the front bucket, probably next week. Then the project will be done. Will post the final pics.

After my daughter and son in law and 2 grandkids came for Christmas and passed there cold to me, I finnaly felt good enough to finish up my project and run the hydraulic lines up the loader arm to the front cross member. I bought 3 hose brackets to weld on the loader arm to secure the lines to the loader arm, but I didnt like how far they stuck out. So I ended up welding the clamping bolt to the loader arm and just using the top half of the bracket to secure the lines flat on the loader arm. Gave me a nice tight fit and worked out really well. Finally got the project all done. Very happy with the results. Now I have to buy a grapple or something to be able to use the front hydraulics!!

Pic of the quick coupler connection, tying in to the lines I had already ran under the right floorboard. Far enough away from the loader quick couplers, and tucked up out of the way.

I bought the factory Kubota mounting bracket that bolts to the loader crossmember. I had to fab up a bracket to hold the lines tight in the bracket. Finished it off with rubber plugs for the couplers. Final piece of the puzzle.

I will be doing my rear remotes like you.
Looking at your pictures it looks like you fed the new valve from the loader valve and then returned back to the 3ph. You did not use the power beyond port of the new valve? It looks like it is plugged and you only have the return to 3ph coming from the tank port.

It is my understanding that the tank port is a low pressure return to the transmission case and that you should have 3 lines coming off the remote valve. Feed from FEL valve. Power beyond to 3ph and a low pressure return to the transmission from the T port on the valve.

Obviously yours is working but I do not understand how...

Thanks

Hey Dan. I sure dont claim to be an expert on hydraulics. My Kubota dealer actually designed how to plumb up the spool valves, and maybe some other more knowledgeable members can chime in and explain it better. It is my understanding that the new spool valves are just in line and have full pressure going thru to the 3 pt and then to the tank as it originally did. So then you can use either the new spool valves or the 3pt with full pressure and the rest goes thru to tank. Thats the way it was explained to me. Again if any of the members can explain it better, please chime in. My neighbor has a B2650 also, and when he saw my new set up said he wants the exact same set up. So I just ordered spool valves from Surplus center and brackets, hoses, and fittings from my dealer. This one should be a little easier now that I have a cheat sheet with my tractor!! Good luck with your build.

Thanks, I cannot wait till it shows up... dealer said 3rd function valve and 3ph parts shipped yesterday so that is a good indication the rest will be on its way soon.

Back to the valve.

I am no hydraulic expert either, I knew enough to get me in trouble before. But since I decided on the 2650 and doing my own rear remotes I have read a lot. I am in no way knocking your installation. I do not want you to think that. But just going off the valve installation instructions and other threads any valve down stream needs to be fed from the PB port and tank ports is return to transmission case. The way yours is installed would be as if it was the last valve in the series, or if it is the only valve in the series, and the tank port returned to the transmission reservoir. But since yours is feeding into the 3pt. It should be fed from the power beyond port and the tank port should go to the transmission case. (This can be a Tee with the loader valve drain line). The tank outlet port is a low pressure port and should not see high pressure.(which is what it happening when you use your 3ph) These valves seem really well built and the additional pressure on the tank circuit in them may never cause an issue. I think the issue would show itself more if you try to use the 3ph and a rear remote at the same time.

If I could figure out how to post a picture I would post a sheet of the prince valve instructions that show the plumbing. Someone wrote over the sheet on how to plumb it in on our tractors.

Again, I do not want you to think I am knocking your installation, I love how you made the handles. You did a great job. I just wanted to throw that out there to avoid potential problems down the road for you..
