Yep, made on wood stove that's on the hot side (cold morning in the cabin), and drowned in maple syrup and butter!
LOL, I know what I'll make for lunch!

I'm with you, Hungry! Got a Belgian waffle maker for Christmas and boy do they hold a lot of butter and syrup! Tasty!

Canned pumpkin is actually squash for some reason.

Because pumpkin is stringy and so with out mentioning squash was added.
around '69 we lived in Seligman Ariz. Kids wanted a pumpkin pie and so the Halloween decorations were cut up and cleaned and a pie was made . taken out of oven wife placed on a metal cart beside the stove to cool.
Our dog that never had and interest in food unless invited to eat decided it was for him and wife heard the slurping slivering going on. looked into the kitchen and there was our dog eating the pie. with a wagging tail. the pie was tossed and so will never know for sure if it was good.

In almost 50 years, you haven't tried again? Eventhough pumpkin pie has never been a personal favorite, I would have given the dog the benefit of doubt and made another pie. Dog certainly thought it was irresistible.

We simply add strawberries and whipped cream to make it "Healthy". To good to eat to often!

We're all odd on here. That's why we're posting. What would Ann Landers say.? :confused2:

No

13 steps. If you have 8' ceilings.

16 steps with 9' ceilings. I like even numbers, which makes it paradoxical because 8 is even but 13 isn't and 9 is odd but 16 is even. I count the stairs more than I measure the wall so I go with the even number of steps.

We're still under construction but...lol

FWIW...If this was a commercial application the receptacles would be a code violation for being installed upside down...!

Upside down?

Upside down?

I am afraid so. Most people want to see the ground terminal down. The code requires the ground terminal to be up. Don't ask me why.

Upside down?

I agree they look dumb with the ground on the top and they make it awkward for plugs on things like washing machines etc...but commercial code states the ground on top...
I think the theory is that nothing that is leaned up against a wall (like a tall thin conductor) can slide down the wall and short the hot and neutral tabs if there is a gap between the plug and the socket...go figure...

I've heard it's because if the plug was partly in, and something fell down it would hit gnd first. I don't buy it..

Ground up is weird. I've never seen that, even in office buildings. When did code specify that?
