This is a good resource for the actual tested HP in UNL.
Those are the tier 3s they have listed but they have changed since then

What year(s) were the nightmare tractors?
I have always been a massey man myself.grew up on them.but they are becoming less and less it seems every year while the price keeps creeping up.i honestly wasn't considering a Deere until I dropped in one day on a whim at James River Equipment and got a quote. Salesman told me JD make this series to change people's mindset of Deere affordability.I was leaning towards a MF 2607H but after looking at the 5E series that's where I'll likely spend my money as the value just isn't there for the MF when their financial price is less than $2500 from what I'm being quoted, and the Deere would even cost less without the PowrReverser which I definitely recommend. I had a chance to look at a 2018 5045E and it's definitely improved overall. Wish it still had the step on the right side but the pre-18's are a pita to get on and off on the right side with the loader remote anyways. Still the newer model has better ergonomics with more leg room and the foot throttle moved out from under the brake pedals.
I said this in another thread I made. The 2600H seems like a good cash priced tractor but their finance price adds thousands to the cost of the tractors which makes is not look like as good a value when compared to some of its competition. The Deere just has too may extra features to justify the MF when they are priced that closely IMO.

I also really want the power reverser option, but massey makes you step up to the 80hp option on the 4608 before you can get it.they also accomplish the 12x12 with 6 gears and 2 ranges, while JD offers 4 gears and 3 ranges.never had anything that fancy so not sure which is most desirable.i really just don't want 80hp just so I can have a power reverser basically.
Guy that came to look at my 2615 never called back even though he said he would let me know one way or the other.pisses me off when somebody says that.just don't say anything at all if you don't want it.so basically I am waiting on a buyer for my 2615 massey Ferguson with l200 loader, loaded tires,2 remotes, and 700 hours if anyone is interested....☺
