I’ve said it about 5 times but not all HSTs whine. I still doubt 94bullets tractor is that bad and suspect bad audio is responsible.

You know if you think about it, a self driving tractor makes a lot more sense than a self driving car. Tractor speeds are by comparison very slow, and out plowing in a field or spraying or what not, seems like a safe place to do it. And you probably don't even need an operator in the cab at all.

Oh... that's just great. So now where do I go to sip on a cold one, have a chew, and be alone ???

This is almost as good as a 努hich oil is best thread...

I like hydro for tractors under 50HP.

What is the best caliber to hunt deer with? :D

I really don稚 get the point of those. Has anyone ever ruined an engine by running the wrong brand of oil?
I almost did, on my '84 F150. The combination of a paraffin based oil and my tendency at the time to not let the RPMs get up caused the hydraulic lifters to get so clogged up that they collapsed. A little Marvel Mystery oil in the crankcase followed by me running the bejeckus out of the truck in third gear straightened that out in no time.

Hi .. Just need some guidance. I'm soon buying a new Massey Ferguson 34 HP with loader. Trying to decide on Hydrostat or Gear Transmission. I'll be Brush Hogging about 15 Acres a few times a year and using a Tiller for a couple acres of food plots.. Most of the use will be for these two things , but will use the loader at times for different chores , including snow removal.. The tractor does not have a cruise control function for the HST so foot pedal will be used for the few hours of steady brush hogging. Any recommendations from you guys who own either kind of transmissions ?? Thanks for any help you can give me.
I'll be the trouble maker here. You might do a little more research on massey fergusons before you pull the trigger. Lots of probems. This includes front end loaders, power trains, 4 wheel drive, starting in the cold, over heating in the summer, emmission issues, etc. Agco wont offer any solutions or stand behind their tractor. Just dig around in the massey ferguson section of this forum. Buy a massey at your own risk, cause agco is not going to stand behind it.

I'd agree with this post and urge caution with Massey as well. I know at least two state research farms here in NC that got a batch some new Masseys a few years ago and they've been nothing but a headache.

Maybe it is because it is new, but my B2650 does not emit an audible whine over the sound of the engine in low range at all, in mid range only if it is over-loaded and struggling do you hear it over the engine, and in high range you absolutely hear it. But it is not something bothersome, it is just a sound that the machine makes. Now, if you want to hear a whine, get on my Craftsman with the Hydro Gear G730, that makes some noise if going up a hill. But even that is not a bother, it's just the sound that a hydraulic system under load makes. I guess I don't understand why it is such a big deal for some of us that a machine emits a sound? My guns make sound, my truck makes sound, my tractor makes sound. The dead raccoon at the end of street is totally silent. No sound. But it's not a machine.

Yeah, but but that dead raccoon, USED to make a lot of irritating sounds!:)

Here is a newer Kioti: Judge for yourself how bad it whines.

Look how quite your loader is. My Kubota loader sounds the same way. Then compare that to the previous video. That’s why I don’t think the audio is any good in that video. I’m on your side here but you should have went faster for a longer period.

Here is Eric see-sawing his Hydro Kioti between a couple of trees. The increase in sound you hear is the engine RPM increasing when he presses a pedal from his linked pedal feature. As the hydro pedal is pressed it also increases the engine RPM off of idle to produce more fluid flow thru the hydro.
