Have you looked at a Kimber Micro 9? Its narrow and there are several IWB holsters. It has a magazine option that allows a full hand grip and is rounded for CC.

I've given it some thought.

Not certain if there is a huge advantage in spending money from going to 6+1 of .380 up to 6 or 7+1 in 9mm.

Assuming this is for church, church is the EASIEST place to hide a gun on your body if you wear a sports coat. I wear shorts and sandals myself to church, and easily carry a double stack of 14 or 15 rounds of 9mm, along with a spare mag, and no one knows I'm carrying.

Sad **** state of affairs when you have to be Packin' in church. When we packed anything, it was a lunch!

If you carry, why should you stop carrying just because you go to church?

Try being Russian Orthodox. You HAD to pack a lunch for the church service:laughing:

Previous posters have also suggested this and I think it is the best thing to do. My wifey has been trying out a variety of handguns and her best shooting is done with the more expensive weapons. Surprise, Surprise. She says that the pistols she is shooting best, fit her hand best. Fit is very important and one really needs to shoot the weapon to see how it all works out.

Later,
Dan

The reason I bought the Kahr in the first place is that the grip is big enough for three fingers plus the barrel is a little longer plus it was on sale and cheaper. Hmmm...long sentence there.

The reason I will probably sell it or trade it is lack of accessories available and slightly too big to conceal easily.

Dang it. Had made up my mind to get another gun. Gotta make sure my wife doesn't see this.

Actually I had seen some of these. Just have to make a decision.

There has been a lot of useful information put out here and I thank everybody.

I enjoy these discussions very much.

So, not to hijack your thread, but it looks like the conceal part is a little trickier than I thought (comfort, bulk and access). So, how do you do it well if you are not wearing a jacket of some sort, or an untucked shirt? I saw a couple of youtube videos about urban carry holsters, but you don't mention them, so maybe they're not all they are cracked up to be.

I have a 9mm for target shooting, but have no interest in CC. That said, TBN has a way of making a person curious, and finding new ways to spend money.

I have a LC9.. hate it. I find it clunky to shoot and difficult to be accurate with. Its acutely the one I like least is my safe. I have shot a friends Glock 9 and after a few rounds became comfortable with it, for the small premium I would have bought the G instead had I known. My preference in all the 9s I have shot is the Sig.. for whatever reason.. I'm comfortable with them and their characteristics.
