Chain Saw Holder

You could use one of these holders but, how would you use two of them? The “pole” has to go under one end and over the other end.

I thought of that also when I saw it. The second one could be removable in a sleeve with a "pit pin"

Nice work. Not many guys would have the vision to build a chainsaw holder that approaches being artwork.

It is nice!! My chainsaw holder is close to the same location, it's inboard of the FEL mast on the right side. But, sadly, mine has no artwork on it, it's just green. I still like it, though.

I bought a JD950 with a loader and recently rebuilt the engine. I currently have the front 4WD hubs apart to re-seal. Now I realize I not only need to build a mount for my chainsaw I also need to buy a saw that matches my tractor

I will be using this tractor in the timber. Hadn't thought thru the saw thing! Nice work on the mount!

They are out there. JD owned a Homelite for a time, sold that and outsourced them. Efco and Echo (yellow ones) I believe.

I’ve seen some nice ones made out of those deldrin or plastic cutting boards. Guy had enough to cut it up, and sandwich the bar, and used two strips on both sides as spacers, and it protected the chain as well. I thought it was a clever idea.

This is what I planned to do for a future BX mod. Got to design in some 'orange' features too.
