Hey Dan. Glad you got your spool valves finally. Where does it look like you will be able to mount it now that you got it and can physically hold it in place? Looking forward to watching your build.

Ron,
Probably going to mount it the same way as yours. You weren’t kidding, you run out of room fast. I almost wish I would have just went with a 2 spool valve. But the 3 spool was actually cheaper. And more is better. I think...

I wanted to mount the valve down under the tractor so you didn’t see it. And then run hoses back to a bulk head to mount the couplers. It would have been a cleaner install. But I think the lever setup would have been harder. And the valve probably would only be another 8” forward so it doesn’t make much difference. If I was really worried about the looks I should have spend 1300$ and bought the setup for the b3250 like KYLEH did and it would have been the best way. But this setup I’m in about 275$ and I shouldn’t need any more materials.

Hey Dan. The way mine is set up you dont see it at all except from the back where the couplers are, and the levers sticking up. It ended up a pretty clean looking install. For sure that space is limited but doable. One other thing to watch for especially with a wider spool valve, is that nothing is in the way when the 3pt arms are all of the way up. I had my valves as close to the right fender as I could and my hose running down to the loader valve just clears. It was tight even with my 2 valve setup. The other thing like you said, is the the farther away the valve is and the longer the levers, the longer the throw will be on them. That is another reason I did mine like I did. The lever movement is good.

Mine will be mounted tight against the fender also. Everything looks like it should work. I need to fab up the bracket so I can bolt the valve to it and make mocking it up a little easier.

I ran to the local Kubota dealership this morning and grabbed all fluids and filters to do a 100% change for my upcoming 50 hour service, also grabbed a pistol grip grease gun and 3 grease cartridges... And another hat. About $260 total with hat and grease gun.

Fuel filter, front axle, engine oil/filter, HST fluid and filters, air filter. That will get the machine to a good start.

Definitely the way to go. Get the bracket fabbed up and do a mock up to make sure everything fits and yoi can get all the hoses rin to where they have to go.

Made a little more progress tonight.
Got the bracket made and painted tonight. Got the two hoses cut to length. I am going to crimp the fittings on tomorrow. One thing left is to get that tee from Home Depot Ron suggested. Shouldn稚 take
More than an hour to plumb it in. Then comes making the levers.
