What's the oil have to do with it??

Different brands of tractors require different hydraulic oil specifications. The bucket has 2 hyd cylinders that contain oil from whatever tractor you use it on and will dilute whatever tractor you use it on next. Kubota super UDT and SAE15w-140 are not the same, that is the 2 types of oil used in the different tractor hydraulics.

Oh, I see you got your own answer on the oil, I was responding as I went down the list.

Dilution just happens. For example if you put new oil in your tractor, then hook up to an implement you have, you just diluted the product.

Too bad they can't all use the same oil.
I try very hard around here, to NOT mix oils...

Last time I put a loader on that had old oil in it, I ran clean oil through it before hooking up the last hose and I've done it with implements too...

One thing about having gear drive tractors that I have, I can run the same oil in all of them...
