Ford 6.2 VS GM 6.0

E85 is about gone around me now in Ohio. A few places have it, but it's less than 20% lower pricing than E10 so it is more expensive to use. I used to get it at one station occasionally just to help clean my engine, but they switched those pumps from E85 to E0. And comparing regular gas (E10) to Diesel, yesterday E10 = $2.18 and Diesel = $2.95.

Even if we had E85 locally, I would not use it. The cost of gas went UP when E5 was mandated when it was supposed to go down.

Get the corn out of gas and mpg’s will go back up, corn is for food, shine, and heating with (corn stove), not to water down gas.

A rumour of a 7.0 gasser to replace the 6.0 keeps popping up. I hope they go the Dual Injection route.

Walked past an unattended idling pickup truck yesterday in the quirky mart parking lot. Sure enough somebody was all proud of their Canyon “Duramax” diesel that is a copy of an Italian Diesel.

Exactly! As far as I'm concerned, the government owes me a lawn mower...carb on my old mower was ruined by running the ethanol mixed gas. There was NO ethanol-free gas available anywhere in northern Nevada until the last year.
