I am feeling now like I should have back dragged the drifted snow off the front deck with the tractor rather than physically dealing with it.

After doing more harm than good to my house frame, foundation, and septic piping with the tractor, I now try to stay at least five feet away from it, even if it means using a shovel and rake instead of hydraulics. It might result in some sore muscles, but that has saved even more sore muscles, as well as dollars spent at Home Depot.:shocked:

My neighbor has something like that, a bit smaller. It has a pipe coming out the top though-- he bottles what comes out and it will probably kill most bacteria.

Good morning all. Looks like the seasons really are changing.

On clear mornings like this the sun now chases off the frost before I've caught up on this thread. Some may attribute that to it being being higher in the sky, although I suspect it's as much to do with the length of time it takes me to read Jay's big words

RNG, sorry your experiment with a female robot didn't turn into true love. I guess I won't look at them Monday when I go to Costco. One of my chores when I was a kid was to vacuum the house. I kind of liked it...strangely soothing and instant results...my wife does most of it now, but I don't mind when I need to take a turn.

Vehicle passed inspection yesterday...mechanic came in and said, 100% healthy...plan on giving it to my youngest son next week. Nice seeing a lady there that I worked with about 10 years ago.

Used my grapple for the first time to lift up a big downed tree to cut into rounds...wow, what a back saver, and chainsaw didn't touch any dirt. Need to move an empty pallet up to my splitter today and split it all and go back after 3 more trees.

My sister emailed last night at 9pm saying power had finally come back to Princeton NJ. Down for more than two days, she is sure happy she got a Generac 22kw just like mine. So all systems go for heading North later today. It's Monday morning coming home I'm more concerned with.
Out comes the winter clothes again...

The feature of the UPWALKER is not so much the seat but the raised arm hold that adjust so the person rest his elbows on the walker thus standing up straight and not hunched over. The pressure is taken off the wrist and hands and the back is straight.

Hard to convince someone that should spend $600 on a walker. My mother was like that. Amazon helped a lot. Only sent one item back from my mother. Most of the items worked good. Sent back item was a expensive back brace.
