I'm seeing another cold night ahead, tomatoes and peppers staying inside. I did get the second batch of five foot tall trellis webbing so I can have that ready when I plant them.
Am having a hard time hardening a cucumber when two hours out in the sun seems to cook it.

spent almost four hours on the Gravely garden tractor pulling the Agrifab tiller, and thankfully it did fit between the potato rows as I had planned.
Got all of the potatoes done, the first planting part, and then did most of the corn rows, thinking I was going to plant tomorrow. I still might. Row tops are now fluffy soft, just perfect for planting.

Operation "Brogen" completed, we returned home w/o incident. He immediately found some toys from dogs long time over the Rainbow Bridge and had a few drinks of water. New goobers are everywhere. One never really knows for sure what one is "rescuing." For a leash puller and runner he seemed pretty tame walking part the property perimeter. He was a city dog which probably works to my advantage with all the smells out here. He has some known medical issues and we do not have any records yet. He's a good boy and a Momma's Boy as well. We'll see.

st. bernard.....you better hope he doesn't turn into a puller.....lol....you'll learn to see the tell tail signs of when he's about to shake his head to get rid of the slobber.....there's an art to stepping to the side just before.....lol.....until then get use to having dried shiny drool on your clothes......you get use to it.....lol.......had a kuvasz that did that......yup I learned that you never get the full story on rescues.....looks like he's made himself right at home already......good for him........Jack
