What have you done to your Branson today?

I had a D-ring welded on the top center and a couple of weld on hooks on either side on the top lip of my bucket years ago. One of the best mods anyone can do.

Amen! I don't know what I would do without my hooks and clevises. Thinking about welding on another set of hooks pointing backward so I can lift behind the bucket instead of always over the lip.

What's the going rate for dead cow burying these days?

One way travel time and whatever it takes to dig the hole, push the animal in it and backfill. My rate is $60 an hour.

Mine got unloaded from delivery. I also replaced the bad 3 point arm, the prior owner damaged or lost it and had put a piece of channel iron on to lift the 3 pt.:shocked: I ran it a small amount with a blade and am getting ready to do all the regular maintenance since I don’t know it’s history.

It was a repo at a bank and I got it for a steal.

Nice.

Good idea to do all fluids and maintenance. A guy that can't keep up the payments, probably wasn't keeping up the maintenance either.

Post some pics of the new tractor.

We like tractor pics.

Uh oh. You better watch out, she may decide that it's "her tractor" and you have to get your own!

:D

I got up at 6 AM today and laid out the chains and straps and 6000 pound come along. Dug the mud from behind the rear tires and started cranking. After about 30 minutes, I had cranked it back to solid ground and was sitting at my desk at work by 930. It was almost fun pulling it out. Almost.

If it was that much fun.. Go bury it again and take pictures and post them up..

IMG_20161026_130535782.jpg Mine got a little stuck, so I used my Jeep and winch to extract it.

Thanks! It really seemed to help the traction and back end "float" when carrying dirt. I should clarify that the fluid was on clearance. I picked up a drill powered pump and fill valve at TSC. Worked like a champ!

That was the first modification I did to mine when I bought it. Too it to Les Schwab and had them fill the rear tires with antifreeze and water mix. They are 3/4 filled extra weight for traction and heavy loads in the front loader. So worth it.
