What Makes Kubota Better Than Kioti

I just don't like that orange color kioti uses... looks inferior to me. :D
When it comes to color, I like green better. However when it comes to compact utility tractors, I prefer Kubota. ;)

I couldn't say Kubota is better than Kioti, I never owned or operated a Kioti to compare. :confused3:

Kubota costs more so it must be better, right? Before I bought my Kioti RX7320 I looked at the Kubota M7060 and really liked it. The controls had a nice layout, it was comfortable, a really nice machine. Then I looked at the Kioti and there did not feel like much difference in quality (I think the Kubota was a little quieter in the cab though) but the Kioti was a little bigger (7 foot bucket on the loader vs. a 6 foot on the Kubota), more lift on the front and rear, and a little more weight. Another big point in the Kioti's favor is they are much more competitive in the small utility tractor market here than Kubota is. Might be the local Kubota dealers that I talked to, but by going with Kiota I was able to buy the tractor and several attachments for less money than the Kubota alone.

The question is biased to begin with. It should be: which tractor is better, if either, Kubota or Kioti?
Dealer network or local dealer could be a factor but doesn't have to be. If someone buys a tractor of any color or brand because of a dealer close by or because their dealer has a good reputation or offers a better price for comparable features then that is a personal choice.
However, what one buys can be motivated by if one plans to service their own equipment during and/or after warranty is up.
I'd rather have an excellent piece of equipment than something that has an amazing warranty. If the tractor never needs to go back to the selling dealer for service OR warranty work- all the better. Less to no downtime fixing things that could have been better built at the manufacturer's facilities.

I have used Kubota's from time to time. I've owned two problem free Kioti's over the last 9 years and 1500 hours between them. I vote for Kioti, not because it's better or worse than Kubota- because it does what I ask it to and is essentially problem free. I don't need insurance to cover something because I don't finance my tractor purchases. Cash for tractor, bought to own.

I asked the question to see what other ppls thoughts and opinion was and wondering if there was some type of quality difference I wasn’t aware of.
Before I had any experience myself with tractors I started out wanting a Kubota. Just from what I seen and heard they seemed like a nice quality machine and I was attracted to the color. So of course owning a Kubota was a dream. My dream finally came true one day. But since then I have also owed the Kioti. I really like them both but over all I think I prefer the Kioti a little more. Quality wise I think they both have it. Who has the better fit and finish I think depends on the particular model you’re looking at. I like the looks of the Kioti’s a little more and the paint doesn’t seem to fade like the Kubota paint.

My iPad wants to autocorrect kioti to kittie.

That's why I have Android products! My android corrects it to King of tractors!

I think KTAC insurance is THE only thing that makes Kubota better than Kioti. IMHO

Hmm. Interesting. I have always had KTAC insurance on my Kioti and still do. They said since I was already a Kubota and KTAC customer and traded in the Kubota, for the Kioti, I just continued on with their insurance. So I guess I have the best of both worlds. :)

I do not know which is better but I have two Kubotas and see no reason to take a chance a different brand. Just solid reliable machines.

It also depends on your definition of "quality". Fit, finish, features, weight, capacity, horsepower, PTO output, transmission type....all are qualities. Customers value these qualities according to their individual needs and preferences.
When I was shopping for my current tractor, I narrowed the field to a Kubota and a Kioti. The Kioti had more of what I wanted and cost substantially less. As a bonus, the dealer seems to value their customers.
