I gave kioti a good look the last time, both orange and white versions. I didnt like the way their backhoe hung so low under the tractor, and how it detached.
Like asking, what makes Snap-On Tools or Mac, better than the tools sold at HF (or Princess Auto in Canada)? In many cases, the 1/2" wrench will do the exact same job.
Or what makes the Lincoln/Miller Welder better than the Everpower ones?
Its 20 mig to a kubota dealer and 100 mi to a kioti dealer. That made kubota better for me
I find the dealer to be irrelevant. I have had my Ford for 25 years and it went to the dealer once a long time ago and their stupidity amazed me. Since then it has never needed to go to the dealer. most tractors if not abused should never need a dealer - they just do not get enough hours on them to have failures. the seat had cracked and rusted out this year so I went on the internet bought a new one and put it on.
My lawnmower has no dealer in the area but it is 19 years old and has not needed one. I have had a couple of issues and just called he factory and they talked me through it. Aren't they all built that way?
I see Kubs every day, thousands over the years but I have never seen a Kioti...never even heard of the name outside of TBN but judging from the good people on this forum they are likely just as good, some models may even compare favorably . They are just rare.
Subtle, funny, MOSS.
