I like the way that works - very clever. Not knowing much I have a question. What are the the spacer/washer/leveler things between your vise and stand table. Thanks.

Hi Gordon, I used Click Bond studs. They are adhesively bonded to the bare metal. No drilling or welding necessary. I work for Click Bond so I use the products all over. Lots on my tractor, etc. great for mods.

Someone (maybe you) used the Click Bond studs to mount LED work lights on their tractor ROPS to avoid drilling.

Yeah that was me.

Thought so. Will you be sending out “free samples” to TBN Nation?

But seriously, does Click Bond sell thru dealers? Are there sources here in Texas?

Thanks!

Yeah that was me.

HMMMM. I bought some super strong magnets to try to do the same thing, worked for another TBN'er.
If the 130 pound magnets don't hold the one pound light on, now I know to check out Click Bond.

Ya know, we all clean up a little before taking pics but gosh some of the shop pictures I look at are so clean
I feel like an utter slob cleaning mine up once or twice a year. And who of us hasn't gone to take a pic and you look at some
junk in the background and you move the camera to hide it. It's not junk though, projects in queue!

Got tired of having to get out a 15/16 wrench and the rattle gun whenever I wanted to drag my pin-hitch grass sweeper behind the ZTR, so I picked up 3 of the HF "ATV hitch adapters" - the ZTR just had a piece of FB with a hole for the hitch ball, welded onto the 3" angle across the back. I cut that FB off flush with the angle, and welded it (with the ball still on it) onto a piece of 1/4" wall 2" tube, and made another with just a hole in the FB for the pin hitch -

Then I put another one of the ATV hitches on my recent CL find; an older Club Car golf cart - had 6 months on new batteries, good tires, full enclosure and separate cover, all for $400 :cool2:

Notice all the washers in the last pic? There's even more ABOVE the hitch; the existing 1/2" hole was in the lower "stake pocket" lookin' piece AND the upper area (where the golf bags are NEVER gonna sit again :D) - the washers you can't see took a little fiddling around to get where they needed to be, I didn't want to bend either of those pieces so the washers gave me a snug fit BEFORE I tightened the 1/2" bolt.

I have one more of those ATV hitch adapters, thinking about a FRONT hitch on the cart for jockeying a couple of the smaller trailers around... Steve

I lost one of the ramps to my trailer so I made another one. It’s amazing how much faster projects go using new metal.IMG_4092.JPG

I have a little 3000 lb capacity dump trailer with 12" removable sides.

I want to put some stake pockets on it. Two on each side and two in the front so I can have a staked flat bed or add extension sides to give me a 3' tall box. The skin on the bed is only 12 gauge ( .104" ) and the side rails were made by folding the bed edge into a "U". So I need to beef up the side rails where the stake pockets will go. I took the bed off and flipped it upside down so I can work on the bottom. I am using some channel made from 2X2X1/8 angle. I cut two slots in the rail so I could drop the channel straight down and used a couple C-clamps to bend down the rail between the slots.

The bed was pushed down in some places from hard use so I made a hook and hung some weight on a bar to push the bed and channel up so I could tacked it flat.

This is as far as I got before it started raining again. I found welding this thin material a challenge.
