CK25 ticking sound when ignition off

Hey gang
My CK25HST (2007 @ 600 hr) started an intermittent ticking sound; like a flasher, but twice the frequency?!?!
It's been sitting outside since this spring. But I had noticed this in the garage after snow blower in heavy wet snow; suspect humidity related issue ??

This sounds like a relay short of sorts. Let it dry out for a day or two and see what happens. I've had an assortment of electrical problems similar to this after a hard driving rain, having left the tractor outside. Just needed to dry out. Most open station tractors do not like its console left out in the rain. I would recommend getting a cover for the console if leaving the tractor outdoors.

Some metals also will make those type sounds while cooling down.
Is that a possibility?

That’s were I was going too as to why I asked what I did.

My neighbor called me last summer and said that my CK20 was making a ticking sound. I found the flashers turned on (grandkids) but the lights weren't flashing because the key was turned off.

Does it do it right after shutting it off, and for how long does it do it?

Does it continiously when shut off. I have now put it in the garage and disconnected battery before going crazy from the sound. Will try a hair dryer under the dash...

Ok, yeah I wouldn’t leave it with the battery connected until you find the problem. If it’s making a noise then you should be able to track it down , once you find the general area of the ticking, then start feeling around on everything, you should be able to feel it if it’s a relay or something.
