Not me. I'll stand up from a sitting position and work the treadle sometimes when mounting a front implement on the QA, or to see fork tips better...but never, ever from the ground.

I've been using the treadle for 14 years, I don't even think about the fw/rev. Comes naturally now. I like it but I guess I would like separate pedals too if I used them this long.

You do this standing on the ground with your left hand? If I switched hands and sides operating the FEL I might get confused.

I prefer the treadle to the dual pedal system for loader work. Its a quicker and smoother action. When using it for other things, such as mowing or tilling, I find I move my foot more to the front of the pedal to avoid discomfort. I've run both, and I vote for Kubota's controls. Much more ergonomic.

I find the treadle peddle to be awkward for me I have bad knees and for me move my foot to get it on back of the pedal puts my ankle and knee in a bind so that is one of the reasons I went with my Massey Ferguson 1705 with the dual pedals because I just move my toes and after awhile it comes to be second nature to operate and it doesn't bind up my knee and ankle.
