OK, I have an 8050, you say you are buying new, check the build date on a 8050 I know that branson still listed it on their website the last time I looked however I think that you will find that 2015 or 2016 was the last year built and brought into this country. Branson says that there is no service manual available for this tractor. It has been a decent tractor for me, it has had a few issues, my dealer has been decent.
If you go to the Branson forum I have posted a few times about issues with mine.
When I bought mine I compared the 7845 and the 8050, the 7845 was a 1000 pounds lighter with the same engine, the 7845 has more transmission gears and 3 speeds for the pto and weights a lot less the castings on the 8050 are much beefier and the front axle has a planetary reduction which I prefer to the spur and bevel on the others.
The 8050 loader is self leveling which has it plus's and minus's. The "clutch" on the 8050 and I am pretty sure on the 7845 is not a dry clutch, they have multi disk wet clutches one pack for forward and another set for reverse, the tractor does not need to have the clutch pedal used to move, you can just move the shuttle to forward or reverse and the tractor will modulate the clutch pack for you, that is what the power shuttle does. It can be jerky and hard to modulate trying to back up to hookup to the drawbar or 3 pt. also attaching to the loader ssqa as it is difficult to gently ease it an inch or two. The 8050 comes with the euro style hook lift arms which is a type of quick hitch for the lift arms, it handy.
The rear remotes do not have a float position, one does have detents for continuous operations. The cab is decent sized, I have bounced my head off the ceiling a couple of times.

Why no love for a bevel front end? Don't you get a much tighter turning radius without CVS or ujoints?

LouNY,

Is this true even if your in creeper gear?

My 8050 does not have a creeper gear set;
A, B, and C ranges,
and 4 speed in the transmission.
The lower gears are a bit easier, but it is difficult to gently back up to hitch up,
I especially notice it when backing up to a wagon with someone holding the tongue and waiting to drop in the draw pin,
also connecting to the front ssqa and some what with the 3 point.
The fluid you use in the hydraulic/transmission will also make a difference.
With the factory fill it was some what touchy, at the 50 hour change went with shell spirax and it was even grabbier,
I could not start in the winter, when it got down towards 0 degrees the starter would only crank the engine over about 2 revolutions, it did not matter what I tried, jumpers, boost starters all three, I would have to tent it and use a salamander heater to warm the tractor before it would start.
I replaced the hydraulic/transmission fluid with Cen-Pe-Co multi purpose fluid (hytran) and the engine oil with Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 synthetic and now she will start in the winter and also the clutch operation is much better, it is still somewhat jerky.
The service manual for the larger K series tractor (Australian) has a section on programing the clutch packs using a software package which I have been told is not available.
They also have a 2.7 KW starter where mine is only a 2.2 KW.

Yes you can have a tighter steering radius, it is just my personal preference to have the planetary, I believe that they are stronger and more durable most of the time.
When I looked at the axles on the 8050 with the planetary and compared them to the spur and bevel drives it seemed much heavier. All of the other 4wd tractors at the farm (IH Magnums, IH Puma and the NH 6050) have the planetaries as does my old beast of a Dynahoe.

Sorry sir but I find that extremely hard to believe. I'll admit what they provide has it's language translation issues and a lot of times you get a picture rather than verbiage, (course pictures are worth more than words sometimes) but for somebody to produce a product like this for sale in the USA, Branson being Kukje's USA market tractor, is BS. I got a full set of manuals with both my Bransons at the time of purchase. The 6530 cost me but was available at the dealer, small dealer at that, and the 2400 was free from the dealer, another small dealer.....aka one would think limited resources.....not so.

That was an exact quote from my dealer last winter, that their was no 8050 service manual available....
If you can locate one thru a different dealer provide me with a part number and I will gladly purchase it and also say thank you!!!
That is not what your first line has me tempted to say right now.

It could be interesting if BransonBuilder chimes in.

Well sir, if the company's publishing site doesn't list it, must not be one.

:: KUKJE MACHINERY ::

I see Operators and Parts Manuals. Have you contacted Kukje to see when one will be available? Like folks that sell and service these machines need some sort of guidelines.

On my comment, looks like I was wrong and apparently it's no BS that one is not published........yet?

Using the Kukje link I just sent the following email to Steve Lee and Jieun Park,
we will see if In get any response from them as Branson USA does not respond.

Morning;
I purchased a Branson 8050. I am mostly satisfied with my purchase, I have had some issues with it.
I have been informed by my dealer that no service manual is available for this tractor, I find this hard to believe, I need the part number and pricing for a 8050 service manual.
Also, is the software package to communicate with the shuttle clutch programing available? and what is the pricing?
This tractor has not been a reliable starter in cold weather, is a heavier duty starter available ?
I see that the K series has a 2.7 KW starter? does that starter fit the 8050 which has a 2.2 KW starter?

Thank You,
Lou Marchaland

I have posted on these issues in the Branson forum previously

Sorry for the temporary absence, I've been traveling for the last few days. I did speak directly with a rep in Rome Ga and I am sad to say there is no service manual for the 8050 and there is not going to be, at least not for the current model(s). I was told that both the 7845C and the 8050 will have DEF next year and there will be a service manual for it. Not sure how much overlap there will be or how much use it might be for those with the current 8050's. As for any other changes to the two models there was no more information on that.
