Find a tree company that will use a bucket truck placed on your property to access the branch and remove it in pieces or using rope and cable. No people or equipment on the neighbors property.

Tree guys do this all the time when trees are over structures or power lines.

Yep. Neighbor is almost certain to cause a stink. Her favorite tree, actually her land, damaged her grass, whatever. I’d leave this deal alone.

Or she might sue you by adverse possession of the tree limb and the roots on her side. Maybe that tree was her dogs favorite spot to take a leak and with it gone is in emotional distress.
