I wasn't sure if he's referring to this thread or the drain plug... they both are running a little short of content until the respective OP's check in.Why stop at the last bunch of posts? Check out the pallet thread sometime if you want to see lots of value in posts. There is some good stuff in there.

So if she "loses" the letter? We're about to replace the fence in Boston and the old one comes with a story. The neighbor behind us had a swing set. When the family who lived here had the fence put in, they put in a gate to have access to the swings. The property owner then installed a hasp on "her" side of th fence, and padlocked it. I was amused both by the presumption that a neighbor could use her swings uninvited, and the response.
We have a big tree that's dying and there's a large branch over her garage. My wife went over with the tree service (same one she uses) to ask if they could remove the overhanging branch from her property. "Trees create oxygen." What? "Trees create Oxygen, so if we cut down the trees, we wont have any Oxygen to breathe."
The tree surgeon then said, "Pass." We sent her a Registered Letter in the mail stating that we had offered to remove the branch from the tree in good faith, and at our expense, but that since she declined the offer, if the branch fell at a later date we would not be responsible for the damage.
Find a tree company that will use a bucket truck placed on your property to access the branch and remove it in pieces or using rope and cable.
