Is this thread dead or is anyone around that can tell me where I can get some Schaeffer's #238 Grease at a decent price with perhaps free shipping Thanks

I bought a case from TRC and at my rate... it will be a lifetime supply.

The water spec is interesting if you are out working in all kinds of weather and maybe even if the equipment is store outside... not sure it would be a deal breaker when all my work is done in dry conditions and my Backhoe spends 99% of it's life in the family garage.

Anyone know what happened to DieselPower? Mike provided lots of lubricant expertise and no longer posts?

That case is still a lifetime supply at my rate...

TRC shipped out of Sacramento at the time I bought.

Have not had any call to look further.

I've seen Schaeffer's #238 on Amazon for $9.17 a tube. Too rich for my blood.

I switched to Amalie Pro Tac with 5% moly. It is a lithium base but performance seems to be miles ahead of the 3% stuff I was using. It has gone up to $46.77 a case of 10 tubes.

Is this Schaeffer's grease supposed to be good? I recently had a salesperson come into our truck stop trying to sell us Schaeffer's products.

But we sell Petro Canada, so I never really looked into Schaeffer's. That was actually the first time I have ever heard of them.
