I would think it would be tough for a TYM dealer to exist near a Rural King. It is just hard to sell the same thing as the other guy, but at a higher price.
I think that's going to be the case for most of the major vendors who are very close to RK. Their specs are really good. I'm sure the other vendors will spell out the "what if" scenerios and still get plenty of customers, but, if I lived near a RK and they had that tractor in stock, there's a good chance that would be sitting under my barn rather than the JD that I did buy. My other tractor is a Kioti and I've used it enough to know that it's a good solid machine. Sure, it might break, but so might a Kubota/JD. It does what I ask of it and it was 10K less than the competition. If RK establishes their brand, expands distribution; they very well may see commercial success and be a long standing tractor vendor. A lot of "ifs" in that statement though. But the price is compelling enough for me to take that risk (if the other stars lined up, this time they didn't).
