I'm getting new door sealing rope before the heating season starts! ;-)

Well, maybe, I wouldn't want the air shut down so much the fire goes out.....

Well, maybe, I wouldn't want the air shut down so much the fire goes out.....

That's how my wood stove worked with new gasket I shut the damper on the stove and the fire goes out so off means off. But what I dont like is everytime I put new gasket on the stove the ends are always frade and or frazzled and starts failing at the joint, there should be some sort of fire proof tape to help stop that, then that gasket cement never seems to go on right, never seems to be mixed in good enough, almost needs to be put in a blender first.

Safe to say theres no need for a wood stove today...............

Not today, freaking 90 degrees!

But I worked up quite a stack yesterday. Cut split and stacked. Drying now.. waiting for next year.
