Amazing how often you hear or see someone handling material around a working machine. Just as dangerous to have someone walking around running cutter for same reason.

Accidents happen. We are all human, nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes at one time or another but most not as serious. It has nothing to do with being "in their right mind".

Man is very lucky. There are a hundred other scenarios where he ends up cold as a mackerel and lying on a stainless steel table. And WOW!!!! Its a scenario that could happen to an awful lot of us. My 125 year old homestead is still laced with old "flat barbed" barb wire. Drop a shank and pull a mile - an old saying out here.

Hope he had health insurance. Too young for medicare which puts limits on what the hospitals can charge.

Bet he was charged more than $250K for the treatment. Maybe double that...

I heard that medical bills were once again going to be the main cause of bankruptcy in this country.
