I wouldn’t even worry about 6010. As long as it could run 6011 you’d be fine.

It would have to be a pretty poor welding machine not to be able to run 6011.

yeah, I would take that . I just haven't see anyone make a vid of one of these machines burning a 6011 well. It may light off a few min. then go out as if you turned the power off.

Just to name a few, New Miller Maxstar, ESAB 161, Thermal Arc 161STL, ESAB Rebel 215 mig,tig,stick. All around 80-90 OCV. Don't get me wrong on this whole OCV thing. I don't own or use 6011 or 6010. Nasty stuff in my book. I don't root pipe and if I have something corroded enough that it needs 6011, I clean it and use something else.

Well, most of the stuff here on the farm is nasty stuff. Cutter is rusty, disc, etc, is nasty stuff.
I use 6010 /6011 to weld up things such as this out in the field.
To be able to tig alum and steel would be just a bonus

I didn't see a listing for the OVC listing on any of these machines I looked up.

Looks like the ESAB Rebel might be the best deal for a true multi process welder that is stated it will light up a 6010 !

I don't need it, But it even gives you a mig option with this machine

I'll have to call about this machine next week and ask some questions about this unit

guess I'll have to call next week. Here is the spec sheet Square Wave(R) TIG 2 TIG Welder for the SQ wave 200 and it doesn't list OCV

I guess there is no everlast welder that meets my needs.
I would think the lincoln would be the better choice, even though it is a little more money Especially if the lincoln is an IBTG machine .
If the HF machine is cheaper, may be a mosfet machine. I haven't checked either, but I intend next week to before I buy

What are your needs? Why would Everlast not meet them? Everlast pioneered the compact multi-process units in the US and we have more experience in building them. Everlast multi units offer more features than ANY other unit on the market. The PowerMTS 221STi, and 252STi both have 6010 dedicated settings, AC/DC TIG, HF start and more. Both the 211 and 251Si will weld 6011 AND have a feature for TIG that none of the others have: HF start and out the front connections for TIG.

Sorry. Did not see the post. All of our units except anything with a "Super" in front of it are IGBT. And have been since 2009.
