Need to pour first cup of coffee. 60° with rain and fog this morning. Heading to 65° with chance of rain all day. Made sure I had all the oil and filters for changing oil in tractor, mower and generator. Did not have all the filters and oil that I thought I had. Should get all 3 done today. It was so miserable out outside yesterday. Got over 2" of rain. I decided to get last of my little projects done on kitchen Island. They are done. Ready for son to show up this weekend.

Drew, glad you had a safe trip. Like the PA pictures.

Roy, safe travels.

LS, no appointment for a MRI. Not good. My doctors have me check out at desk when I leave. If outside treatment is required I get a printed copy of the request. In last few years no messed up appointments. We did the Hawaii trip for our 25th anniversary. Trip of a lifetime.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 72˚ heading to the high 80s. We went to Hawaii when my wife graduated from College and then again for my brothers wedding and another time just for vacation. Each time we visited different islands. I was amazed how hot the ground was in the volcano park on David's island. It seems like it should be cooling down not getting hotter. The waves were totally different than the waves in the Gulf of Mexico. In Galveston the waves are pretty consistent and come in groups 3-4 all about the same size. In Hawaii every once in a while there is a surprise wave. They say never to turn your back on the ocean and that is so true. Two times we were there our rental car was burglarized. We never left any thing of value in it. Time to get on the road for a road trip.

Can’t believe someone on Rox’s amazon thread questioned why Rox was posting on TBN. If anyone should be questioned it should be me with no tractor.

It looks like 44° for the low this morning, yesterday was partly cloudy with a lot of wind. This morning is overcast with a 40% chance of showers and the high in the 60's. They show snow flakes for the weekend forecast.

Didn't get the blower on the tractor yesterday. I got side tracked doing other things that and I didn't want go out in the wind. We are making a trip in to town this morning to do some shopping. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

I got a call this morning from a very long time friend, he is on the liver transplant list and thinks there is a donor lined up for a live tissue donation. Great news! But he called to tell me he’d bought a Donzi and wanted me to go for a ride with him, said he owed me a ride and it was on his bucket list.

77 now, going to 83 or so, hot and humid for days to come looks like.

Buppies, after this heat, is it snow before Thanksgiving or shorts until Christmas?

Good morning to all! The morning sunrise was spectacular this morning due to some cloud cover. Those same clouds kept the night temps warm, only dropped to 56 for the low. Showers are still predicted for today, I hope so. The 'four corners' area is still in exceptional drought situation. We have only had a total of 7" of rain so far for the whole year....dry, dry, dry.

CWB, looks like you're going to be the first with some snowflakes...better get that blower on....

Drew, glad you made it home safely. Sorry to hear about the stiff neck.

Everyone have a nice day, prayers sent.

Got rain last night, just a shower, but welcome, expect high winds today.

After my trip to doc yesterday morning, I took the wife in the afternoon. We picked up granddaughter from pre school on way (good thing as doc was running late at end of day).. wife got pneumonia shot, but no flu shot for her. We were all wiped out last night it seemed.

We decided to go ahead and put things away for winter, no real reason to wait until it is freezing hard every night or snowing..

66°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 88° today.

Looks like a nice area, Drew. Love the stone incinerator. Those peppers look tasty, too.

Mostly, I used to have AT&T before I got married. Wife (girlfriend then) had Verizon. My phone was always dropping calls. I could be driving along I-270 through the middle of St. Louis County, and drop a call. Once, I was playing a fill-in gig at a club in downtown STL, went out to the parking lot between sets to call my sweety, and couldn't get a signal. I was literally staring up at the AT&T building, and couldn't make a call on my AT&T phone. That was the proverbial last straw for me. I switched to Verizon the next week. No more drops for me.

Buppies, I miss watching Hickok45 videos. Where we live, we have satellite with data limits, so watching long videos eats that up pretty quick. Before I got married, I used to watch his videos sometimes into the wee small hours of the morning (had unlimited data at that house). Very entertaining, and informative. Life is good.

Ed, my Wife's Grandmother used to plant her 1/2-acre garden using one of those high wheel walk behind single row plows. She finally stopped at age 94, and died just short of 96. It was amazing to see the incredibly straight rows she made with that thing. She was a small woman, too, maybe 5'1" or 5'2". Inspirational.

Don / Ron, I suppose new people come along every day and don't really have a grasp yet on how or why some things work here. I can see where the Rox thread might confuse someone at first blush. But, yeah, a little reading could cure that quickly.
