Comparison Deere 5065E vs M7060 value & pricing

   / Deere 5065E vs M7060 value & pricing #31
For the OP: Or even better yet, 27% - 29.5% off a Case Farmall 75C or New Holland T4.75. Great tractor. No DPF. Uses DOC. Got my 2018 Case Farmall 75C with Cab and all the options for $45,400 - list price on CaseIH build site is $64,459.
I meant 17% on Kubota. I got my Massey Ferguson 4707 with air seat Hi Visibility roof, front fenders, self leveling loader, 3rd function, stereo, 540/540e PTO, buddy seat, and wheel weights for $45500. 29% off. No regen, no DEF, no exhaust maintenance whatsoever.

The Case and NH are great tractors, but the system they use still has to regen. The loader and 3 point specs dont really come close to the MF. It weighs right at 10,000# with loader and weights. Just something to consider

My Farmall 75C and your 4707 both use DOC for exhaust. Both brands use DPF for the next models up from ours. I'm assuming you got the 4707 Deluxe with all the bells and whistles and my dealer put almost every option on my Case as well. Your raw specs are a little higher for 3PH and your loader because the 4707 does weigh more than my Farmall 75C. I have a Woods BH90X backhoe on mine right now so with the wheel weights and loaded rears I'm running just over 10,000 lbs which came in handy this weekend picking up a 84" heaped bucket of 2A modified or AASHTO # 1 driveway base and driving up a grade 600' to my muddy disaster spot in my access drive to my 20 acres that I'm fixing right now. For the OP, both of our tractors would be good options to consider and with us both getting at least 29% off list the OP could get more tractor for less or less tractor (open station) for even less but both Massey and CNH are great options for the OP to consider next to Deere and Kubota. It comes down to the dealer then - the only Massey dealer I had around with AG level tractors was way high on the compact 17xx models when I priced them at the beginning of my tractor search so I never tried out the 4707 later on. I had 2 NH dealers in the running and then I found the Case dealer which beat the 2 NH dealers by over $2k and they have been a great dealer so far.

That's a good deal but way over what the mission calls for. I really don't want to spend north of 33k. I think this number is entirely doable based on what I've seen from Tractor House. The challenge is most sales guys don't want anything to do with a no money for them deal (I don't blame them). I've learned that it's usually best to talk to the sales manager directly and explain the situation if I want to get anywhere.

Tractor and implement sales aren't exactly rocking right now with commodities where they are. I can't imagine these dealers are passing up any potential buyers.
I am surprised the Massey dealer had zero interest in even quoting me. I think some of these smaller dealers for LS, Massey, Kioti, Yanmar, etc.. are really just order takers who MAYBE sell 2 or 3 tractors a year.

I've noticed that almost always the smaller guys sell tractors on the side not as their primary business. That gets kind of tricky when the economy takes a turn because who knows if their primary business is solid even if the AG market is stable. I saw on Facebook a potential customer in Wisconsin asked Kioti corporate who his closest dealer was....The dealer was in Kansas! That's absolutely nuts to need to travel multiple states away for service.

One thing you can say for the big 3 is even if the local dealer goes out of business there is at least another within 100 miles.

I certainly understand a budget. My Massey Ferguson dealer is also a dealer for Fendt, Claas, and Gehl. They sell ALOT of tractors and forage equipment. I had to wait 2 months to even get a tractor.

I just took delivery of a Kubota M7060HDC12
Looked at Deere, NH, MF.
The M series Deere is nice but $20000 more (what I was priced).
I bought with cab, air ride seat, additional front hydraulics , two rear.

The new M-4 is a premium version of the M-7060. See the Messick Video on you tube, Kubota products for 2019.

Well I submitted quote requests to both Deere and Kubota. I also spoke to New Holland and honestly they just gave me the run around so that made my choice easier.

I think we will be happy with either of the big 2 and both fit the mission really well.

I can honestly say the only thing I don’t like about the 5E is the **** global carrier, I know it’s a great design but it’s such a PITA to find implements for.

The disadvantage the M7060 has is weight but that can be remedied by loading the tires which is usually a good idea anyways.

There is an adapter, global carrier to SSQA adapter. Actually the deere version of (skidsteer) QA style is also difficult to find implements as it is a deere proprietary connection. The adapter below allows universal, industry standard

connection. With the adapter you may connect to either global OR SSQA .

Nice!

Do you by chance have one of these? I’ve used a non factory loader that had a horrible skid steer system. The levers were absolute garbage and actually snapped off after a few months of use.

I own 3 Titan brand adapters. They are pin-on to SSQA, not the global adapter however. I have found titan products to be of good quality and dependable.
