the arms will take the handle being almost all the way back to get the arms all the way to the top, but i will cram my top link into the ROPS structure long before that occurs usually and no more than 3/4 up is really ever needed with pretty much any implement to lift it high enough to be out of the way, where i leave the handle the implement stays. My valve is worn, i have replaced my big oring in the 3pt cylinder and every oring that i can when i took apart the valve, it just is what it is. Mine leaks when i turn the tractor off, the implement will slowly leak down. While running it does not move.. EXCEPT when i lift an item at idle for example and then throttle up to operating rpm it may move up an inch or so with the increase in fluid pressure. And the same when i am running and have it in the air and come back to idle it will settle down just a tad bit lower but happens so slow unless your watching where the arms line up on the tire or how many inches the deck is above the ground you wont notice it. THis is just how it is, i have talked to Steve and Aaron at HOye, they both said why does it matter your making an issue where there is none. Their point is it works, its a 40 year old tractor and some parts are just worn. Said when it wont work anymore then get a new one or a serviceable replacement. I just like things to work as designed was my response. Which is why i tore into it in the first place. The o ring was worn but just a tiny bit, it barely if at all leaked down with the service stop closed, but it did more of the up down with the engine rpms than it does now with the old one on. Now when the stop valve under the seat is closed it will stay up forever telling you that the 3pt is fine but when open it leaks down meaning that the valve is letting pressure out of it.
